A mysteriously glowing overhead topography guides visitors into the space and announces the restaurant to its surroundings. The ceiling, made of parallel strips of precision-milled Padouk wood, is shaped in undulating waves, the ribbons of wood alternately converging to form smooth surfaces and diverging to reveal the permeability of the ceiling.
Lighting, speakers and air diffusers are concealed within the ceiling. The subtle undulations of the ceiling conceal the air-conditioning and part at strategic points to form eye-shaped air diffusors.
